Green Tea Supplement Or Extract,
and Nutritional Beverage

Can we take a green tea supplement or extract and be beneficiary from it more than from green tea beverage?

I know a lot of people including myself who drink a lot of green tea or only green tea. We know that it is good for us, we like its taste, smell…

What we didn’t know that most of the teas available contain more harmful ingredients than the beneficial ones.

Green Teas Are Not All The Same:

Green Tea is an important nutritional beverage in Japan where it has been used for centuries.

It contains beneficial flavonoids, which provide antioxidant support and health-enhancing properties, neutralize free radicals to protect vital organs and tissues in the body.

The best choice is an organic USDA certified green tea with a bright green color (just like on the picture) which does not have a bitter taste.

If the green tea you use has a brown color and is bitter - it means that this tea is inferior oxidized and you don’t get all the antioxidants and other great benefits from it. I first found it out on the Dr. Mercola website where he points at this problem.

He also alerts us to be aware of some metals which are found in inferior teas, especially teas grown in India, Pakistan, China, such as fluoride, aluminum, and lead which are toxic and can cause negative effects in the body.

Because of these facts, enjoy green tea in moderation.

Search for organic USDA certified green tea and green tea extracts in the market.

Non-inferior green teas do not contain metals. They contain more flavonoids, and Epigallocatechin gallate (EGCG) that provide huge antioxidant support and health-enhancing properties:

  • Neutralize free radicals to protect vital organs and tissues in the body
  • Promote healthy gums
  • Support immune system
  • Help healthy digestion
  • Aids healthy function of brain and liver

The same benefits has green tea supplements and extract. Make sure that you get a good quality green tea supplement made from organic USDA certified green tea extract.

Studies suggest that green tea extract is also helpful for:

  • Diabetes
  • Alzheimer’s disease
  • AIDS
  • Weight loss
